Just a 50 mile drive from Portland, escape into Cascadia bliss: swimming holes, scenic bikeway, riverside camping and HOT SPRINGS!

Taking advantage of Portland’s supreme bikability to sample some of the best in local liquid culture, we crafted a full-day, breakfast-to-dinner bike tour to sample the city’s tastiest beverages. 

Portland is known for its friendly bike infrastructure, delicious local coffee, and fabulous bridges.  You'll experience, taste and see a nice variety of these as you tool around some favorite east side bike paths and greenways, and check out some hot coffee spots.

This theme is based off of a fundraising ride I am planning and executing for the non-profit, NE Portland based Urban Farm Collective. The Urban Farm Collective's (UFC) mission is to bring neighbors together to transform vacant lots into neighborhood food gardens for the purposes of education, community building and improving food security. This tour allows you to embrace your gluten-freedom while trying many delectable and safe, gluten-free treats along the way. Come hungry! While we will stop and admire the beauty of Portland's waterfront, mountain views, and rose gardens, the purpose of this tour is to EAT your way through this gluten-free friendly city.

This route is designed to give you a taste of Inner North Portland; one of three quadrants on Portland's east side. Along this route, you pass many vibrant commercial districts (Williams Ave, Mississippi Ave) city parks (Overlook Park, Peninsula Park) vistas (the Skidmore Bluffs) and historic residential neighborhoods (Overlook, King, Sabin).
