Bike Ride: Apples, Wine & Pie on the Beach

Join "Pie on the Beach" route curator Jess Robertson for an Ipswich day trip to Russell Orchards for their annual Apples and Wine Festival.

The day trip will combine a leisurely bike ride, apple & wine tasting, visit to beautiful Crane Beach and optional fried seafood dinner at the Choate Bridge Pub.

Details:

  • 9:30 am - train ride from North Station to Ipswich ($21 round trip ticket not included)
  • 10:30 am - leisurely, slow paced bike ride from downtown Ipswich to Russell Orchards
  • 1ish - bike ride to the beach
  • 3ish - dinner at Choate Bridge Pub (bring cash)
  • 6:00 pm - train ride back to North Station
